When you are developing with APEX you might not be aware of the different ways the pages you show to your end users are constructed. Some are retrieved from the database with all the data included, some retrieve the data at a later stage. Also the processing of changes can be eithera post of a whole page or only the (relevant) parts. In this session we will dive into the different options and see where AJAX - the communication between the server and the browser using mostly JSON - plays a role.We will see what we should - and shouldn't - do using the standard functionality. And, as always in APEX, if "standard" is not good enough we will also show how to construct the AJAX calls by hand.
